Social media and copywriter coordinator
The Marketing team at Hertex is looking for a passionate, driven social media guru and creative copywriter. This person should have the ability to run all Hertex, Haus and 1987 social media platforms, as well as write creative and compelling copy for all the marketing material.
This is a dual role, as the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the groups social media platforms, as well as writing copy for all marketing material, including digital and print elements.
This is a creative role; the candidate will be required to generate innovative and creative content which is aligned to the various brands on a daily basis. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work well in a team environment.
This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment, no two days are the same.
|Duties and responsibilities|
Daily community management and monitoring of our various social media platforms
Provide strategic insights on all social media platforms
Drive innovative content creation
Put together weekly and monthly plans for all our social platforms by liaising with creative and various stakeholders within the business
Put together monthly reports, reporting on activity, results and trends on our social media platforms
Respond to comments and requests on our various social media platforms
Ensure social media budget is kept up to date and monitored
Keep up to date with social media trends and ensure this is communicated to marketing team
Develop copy and write content across a wide variety of integrated platforms including ATL, digital and BTL (in-store signage, brochures and launch invites).
Copy-edit all content for internal and external use
Ensure all copy is consistent and in line with the brand guidelines
Must have an understanding and keep up to date with the latest in design and creative trends
Writing clear, persuasive, original, highly creative and imaginative copy
At least 2 years’ experience in social media
Advertising agency experience could be beneficial
Experience in the décor industry or premium brand exposure would be advantageous
Previous experience in retail marketing
Knowledge and understanding of the online marketing environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have a creative flair and the ability to think conceptually
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Must be able to manage workload
